What are email updates and how do they work?

From 12 February 2026, we will launch email updates. With email updates, you decide which updates you want to receive by email for properties you have saved as favorites. This way, you automatically stay informed of important developments first, without having to log in continuously.

You can find this under email preferences in your account, under your Favorites. For each favorite property, you can specify which updates you do or do not want to receive.

Which emails can I receive and when?

Depending on your settings, you will receive emails at the following moments:

• New document in the data room: as soon as a new document is added or an existing document is changed.
• New or changed viewing: immediately after a viewing is added or changed.
• Viewing approaching: on the day before the viewing at 12:00. For example: if the viewing is on 11 February, you will receive an email on 10 February at 12:00.
• Private bidding is about to close: on the day before closing at 08:00 in the morning. For example: if private bidding closes on 11 February at 23:59, you will receive an email on 10 February at 05:30.
• Property status changed: as soon as the property status changes, for example from “announced” to “in auction”.
• Auction is about to start: on the day of the auction at 08:00 in the morning. For example: if the auction starts on 11 February at 14:00, you will receive an email on 11 February at 08:00.
• New bid in the ascending-bid phase: as soon as a new bid is placed during the ascending-bid phase.
• New bid in the descending-bid phase: as soon as a bid is placed during the descending-bid phase.
• Change to important information: as soon as important information for the property is changed, such as the content of the yellow information bar.

How do I set my email preferences?

• Log in to your account.
• Go to Favorites.
• Click Email preferences.
• Indicate for each notification type whether you want to receive emails.

You can change your email preferences at any time. Changes take effect immediately.

What is the benefit?

With email updates, you only receive updates that are relevant to you. This way, you will not miss important moments or changes regarding your favorite properties, while staying in control of your inbox.
