Vastgoed Veiling

1. How can I create an account and participate in a real estate auction?

To actually place bids on our website, you need to create an account and identify yourself once, with your signature legalized by a civil-law notary.

This allows us to be certain of who you are, making the auction process safer.

1. Register

If you do not yet have an account, you first need to create one. Click here to create an account.

Enter your email address and choose a password, which you must also confirm. Enter your phone number and the other requested information.

Click Register. Then check your email, enter the confirmation code you received and click Confirm.

You are now registered. You can always update your details here, such as your phone number and email address. We cannot and may not do this for you due to privacy legislation.

If you already have an account but it has not yet been legalized, go to step 2.

2. Legalization

To participate in our online real estate auctions, you must first complete and sign a registration statement. This statement officially links your account, via your unique customer number on our website, to the person or organization named in the statement. You can find your customer number under My details or at the top of this page when you are logged in.

Download the registration statement and see which notary offices can arrange the legalization for you free of charge. You may of course also ask your own notary to legalize the statement, but costs may apply.

For people who want to bid together using the same account/customer number, there are two options:

  1. They complete the same registration statement together, with both of their details on the same statement, sign that statement together at the notary and have all signatures legalized by a notary.

Or:

  1. They each complete their own registration statement, with the same customer number on each statement, sign the statements separately at the notary and have each signature legalized.

All bids placed with a legalized account are made on behalf of the person or organization named in the statement. That is why it is important that we know for certain who signed the registration statement.

You only need to legalize the registration statement once for the account. Once it has been approved by our platform notary Hekkelman, your account remains legalized for future auctions.

Please note: legalization by the municipality is not valid. Only a civil-law notary can perform the identification and legalization for auction purposes.

3. Send the statement

Once the registration statement has been legalized, send the original documents by post to our platform notary:

Hekkelman Notarissen
Department of Auctions
Oranjesingel 41
6511 NN Nijmegen

If the auction you wish to participate in is taking place soon and timely delivery by post is not possible, the signed and legalized statement with attachments may first be sent by email to veilingen@hekkelman.nl. The original must still be sent by post afterwards.

If you are bidding on behalf of a legal entity, remember to include recent extracts from the Chamber of Commerce trade register, so the notary can verify that you are authorized to bid on behalf of the legal entity.

4. Bidding

Once the platform notary has received, checked and approved the registration statement, your account is legalized and you can bid in our online auctions.
